Goals

  • To prepare students for the practice of pharmacy by providing them with the Knowledge, clinical and technical skills that they need to successfully complete their course of study.
  • To provide an educational environment that enables students to acquire the behavioral and moral attitudes they need to practice the profession competently and ethically.

Admission Requirements

      • UAE High School Certificate, Advanced Stream with a minimum score of (85%), and (70%) in chemistry and Health Sciences / Garde 12, or an equivalent certificate equated by the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
      • Passing the UAE standard test in the English language (EmSAT) with a score of (1100) or its equivalent, English language proficiency certificates, for example TOEFL with a score of no less than 500, or IELTS with a score of no less than 5, or their equivalent.

Graduation Requirements

  • Successful completion of one hundred and fifty credit hours (150 Credit Hours).
  • Field training in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and pharmaceutical industry of not less than 600 contact hours which is equivalent to 15 credit hours.
  • The minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for graduation is 2.0.
