As part of the University of Science and Technology's commitment to nurturing and enhancing a culture of volunteerism among its students and guiding their intellectual, practical, and artistic skills towards contributing to community service, a group of female students, members of the Volunteer Club, implemented a distinctive volunteer initiative titled "Smiling Together." This initiative was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Ahmed and sponsored by Student Affairs.
The initiative involved a visit to the Thalassemia and Children's Department at Fujairah Hospital on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the morning. The aim of the initiative was to bring joy and happiness to the children during the blessed month of Ramadan, and to share in their joy as the celebration of Eid al-Fitr approaches.
This event comes within the university's efforts to develop and enhance the skills of its students and guide them towards serving the community, while also promoting values of volunteerism and cooperation among them.
