Dental Internship Program

 About the program

The dental internship program is a one-year training program designed to provide clinical, didactic experience to prepare the dental graduates for the next level of their career.

 Training Framework

There will be 36 clinical hours plus 5-hour knowledge activity for the said program ( total 41 hours per week).

Clinical training will involve all the clinical specialties following the 4 handed dentistry.

 The distribution of hours among different clinical specialties is as follows:

 Duration of the Training

The clinical training will be for one calendar year (12 months) , the program will follow the declared public holidays as announced by the UAE government.

Eligibility for Admission

  • Degree in dentistry (BDS, DDS DMD) from a recognized College of Dentistry by the Ministry of Education in United Arab Emirates
  • Applicants with a degree awarded outside the UAE must provide an undergraduate certificate and transcript fully attested by the country of issuing and the ministry of foreign affairs in UAE.
  • The selection of the eligible applicants is based on the CGPA and personal interview

   Documents required

  1. Completed Application Form
  2. A fully attested copy of the successful completion of an approved dental education program (Degree certificate). The originals should also be produced for comparison.
  3. Passport copy with the UAE residence page.
  4. 1 photograph

Documents to be completed after acceptance

  • Hepatitis B immunization certificate and valid BLS certificate
  • Malpractice insurance
  • Internship License

 Program Fees

  • The Registration fee: is 1050 AED (including VAT)
  • The training fee of AED 47250 AED (including VAT) to be paid in 4 installments.
