Academic Experience

Dr. Ali has been associated with many international universities and colleges since 2005. Before joining the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, he worked as an Associate Professor at AMA International University – Kingdom of Bahrain. He has experience working as a Principal, Director of Studies, and Program Director in the UK. Dr. Ali also has around 20 years of teaching experience in the field of Information Systems, Business Information Systems, and other IT-related fields. With a strong research background, Dr. Ali has published in many research journals and conference papers around the world.

Dr. Ali's main teaching area is Information Systems and Business Information Systems. He has extensive experience in teaching subjects such as Systems Analysis and Design, Management Information Systems, Business Process Management, Business Intelligence, E-Business, Project Management, Web Design, and Development, etc.

Research Areas and Interests

Dr. Ali's principal research area for several years has been in the field of IS, e-accessibility and web development, cyber-crimes, and business information systems. His research activities cover e-accessibility, web development, cybercrimes, computer security, business information systems, and management information systems. Dr. Ali has successfully supervised 125 postgraduate theses in the UK in addition to undergraduate projects in both the UK and UAE.
