Dr. Mohammed Tarique and Engr. Rumana Islam of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Science and Technology of Fujairah (USTF) participated in the International Conference on Electrical and Computing Technologies and Applications (ICECTA 2022) held at the American University of Ras al Khaimah from November 23-24, 2022.  The conference was organized by the American International University of Ras Al Khaimah and was officially sponsored by IEEE, Du, Huawei, and Software. Dr. Mohammed Tarique presented a research paper titled "Deep Learning Based Pathological Voice Detection Algorithm using Speech and Electroglottograhic (EGG) Signals" and Engr. Rumana Islam presented a paper titled " Voice Features and Artificial Neural Network to Diagnose Parkinson's Disease Patients".  The USTF has sponsored their participation in that event.
