Dr. Srinivasan Ramamurthy holds a Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences and his professional career has included 14 years in academia and 4 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry. His teaching and research activities are in the areas of Natural Products Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Analytical Method Validation and Health Professions Education etc. He has published 56 research and review articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented 43 papers in conferences of national and international repute. He has one Indian patent and is a reviewer for various scientific journals. He successfully completed two external research grants (Exploratory Research Grant Scheme project funded by Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia) as a co-investigator. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate students in their research. He co-supervised 3 Masters and 2 PhD students.
