Workshop on AI in Cognitive Psychology Held at USTF

Fujairah, UAE – October 23, 2024 – The College of Business Administration at the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah (USTF) organized a workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cognitive Psychology, featuring Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez, Vice President of Woxsen University.
The workshop brought together faculty and students to explore the role of AI across various fields, including education, psychology, healthcare, and business. Dr. Rodriguez’s presentation, titled “Transforming Business Operations with AI,” emphasized the practical applications of AI in improving business processes and fostering innovation.
Additionally, the workshop addressed the “Embracing the Educational Potential of AR/VR – Business-Relevant Competencies for the Age of Automation.” Dr. Rodriguez highlighted how augmented and virtual reality can enhance learning experiences and prepare students for an automated workforce. He demonstrated Woxsen University’s Unity WebGL Player, allowing participants to engage with interactive quizzes in a dynamic learning environment.
Dr. Rodriguez also discussed the differing skill sets required for undergraduate and MBA/Executive students, encouraging critical thinking about how curricula can adapt to new technologies.
The session concluded with valuable insights on the importance of adaptability and continuous learning. Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the workshop's relevance to their academic and professional development.
