The MSAIA program requires the completion of 30 Cr. Hrs. distributed according to the following plan. The study plan is designed in a way so that the normal duration for completing the degree requirements is 2 years and should not exceed 4 years. Students are awarded degrees as follows:

The minimum cumulative grade point average for graduation is 3.0 for 30 total Cr. Hrs.

The current program requires a total of 30 credit hours for graduation. This includes 6 credit hours for Thesis. A student can complete all the requirements for graduation in a period of two years. For graduation, a student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Admission criteria
Full Admission
In accordance with the University’s requirements for graduate degrees, a candidate to be admitted into MSAIA program must fulfill the following requirements:
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Science, Data Science, Physics, or other relevant science or engineering majors from a university accredited or recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE), with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
• Applicants must achieve an English EmSAT score of at least 1400, or a minimum of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, or 6.0 on IELTS (or its equivalent).
• Students with a CGPA below 3.0 or an English score of 5.5 on the IELTS (or equivalent) may be admitted conditionally.
• Students who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, as mentioned above, may enroll in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence Applications (MSAIA) program, provided they complete two non-credit foundation courses to be admitted to the program.
UOF may conditionally admit students with a recognized bachelor’s degree and a TOEFL score of 530 (197 CBT, 71 iBT), or 5.5 IELTS academic, or its equivalent on another standardized test approved by the CAA according to a QFEmirates Master level. Such a student must meet the following requirements during the period of conditional admission:
a. must achieve an EmSAT score of 1400 or equivalent, by the end of the student's first semester of study.
b. may take a maximum of six credit hours in the first semester of study, not including intensive English courses.
c. must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in the first six credit hours of credit-bearing courses studied for the graduate program.
Applicants must provide their completed degree certificates and official transcripts when submitting their application. Senior-level students can apply initially with a copy of their official transcript and expected graduation letter and upon admission must submit the official completed degree certificate and transcript. A degree attestation from UAE MoE (for degrees from the UAE) or Certificate of Recognition from UAE MoE (for degrees acquired outside the UAE) should also be furnished within the student’s first semester at UOF. The following documents are required for admission to the MSAIA Program.
· Completed Application Form.
· UAE Secondary School Certificate, or its equivalent.
· Certified copy of the bachelor’s degree certificate or its equivalent.
· Certified copy of the Grade Transcript.
· Certificate of proficiency in English Language.
· Photocopy of valid Passport.
· A copy of the UAE ID Card for UAE residents
· Health Certificate issued by a university doctor.
· Certificate of good conduct issued by an official body.
· Six recent passport-size photographs.
· A written commitment signed by the applicant to observe university rules and regulations.
